I agree that it might be beneficial for Democrats to lighten up on some of the more divisive parts of their agenda in an attempt to pull in swing voters, especially given the stakes for the future of democracy. But, at least in the races around me, I'm not seeing Democratic candidates talk about pronouns and bathrooms very much. It's all jobs and healthcare and working families.

I wonder if the problem is less that Democrats have made themselves the party of "Wokeism," as you put it, and more that that they have allowed themselves to be defined as that party by the right.
